One of the fastest growing cities Arkansas, Bryant is a place you can call home. Bryant is known for several things: excellent schools, safe neighborhoods, caring people and newer homes. Many families are moving into the area to raise their families because Bryant is only a short drive from the state’s economic center, Little Rock. This gives Bryant businesses and residents access to all the amenities of a major city without sacrificing the small-town atmosphere that Bryant is known for.
Commerce is booming on the north side of town on 149 acres of newly developed land. Plans are being made for industrial and technological growth to take advantage of the new Saline County Regional Airport being built on the south side of town. Metroplan, the planning agency for local governments, has approved a plan to turn the abandoned Rock Island Railway line into a new transportation arterial into Little Rock. The new route will connect to Highway 183, Bryant’s main traffic corridor, just outside the new airport.
The district, covering 349 square miles, has the reputation of being one of the top school districts in the county and state. The district's programs, staff and curriculum are considered among the best available in schools anywhere. Statistically, this reputation is validated by the high academic standing and achievements of Bryant students.
