Arkansas Scholars

Arkansas Scholars is associated with a national program designed by business people to impress upon High School students the importance of doing well in their studies and preparing themselves for the world of work or further education training. Business people offer a power point presentation to students in the 8^th grade explaining that the further they go with their education, the more learning potential they are likely to have. The emphasis is on doing your best because the four years of high school can determine the student’s path for the rest of their life. Although IT IS NOT A SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM students can benefit with help on tuition and books at some Arkansas colleges and universities. For instance, Pulaski Technical College has in the past awarded two full years tuition to Bryant students who graduate as ARKANSAS SCHOLARS.
